Where can I advertise my fanfiction stories?
I have written five fanfiction stories but hardly any people review them. I have been writing my whole life and I think that I am a decent writer, but reviews are what makes my writing better. I started writing fanfiction to become a better writer and so far i don’t think that that is happening. My pen name is rAcHeLcUlLeN.xoxoxo so please check out my stories and tell me what you think, and let me know where i can advertise them. Thanks!
Okay, here’s the thing you HAVE to realize. Fanfiction.net is the BIGGEST website build specifically for fanfiction. It isn’t a big community, it’s pretty much all there, except for some specific fansites, which don’t recieve much traffic. For the most part, that’s where your audience is. That is where you have to make a big impression. Unfortunately, you can’t really advertise, but you can put your best foot forward in your summaries. This will distinguish you from the bad, and “okay” writers.
This means no: “Summary is bad, story is better.” comments. Use good grammar. This small change will lead to more readers. As for reviews, it’s a tough question to answer. Some have tried a write on review basis, with limited success, and some just ask. There probably isn’t a “right” answer, and never will.
