What is it called when you get paid to shop somewhere to check on the service?
They pay you to shop at a store or eat at a restaurant, so you can give feedback on how the costumer service was.
What is that job called?

This is called the “Secret Shopper”. They look for all the good points of the customer service and if there is any bad customer service, then it gets reported to the managers. They potray different moods too. They might not be the happiest customer int he world, and they may also be a very fussy customer to see if you will lose your patience with them. But that’s what they are supposed to do. I know that you can look on job searching websites and they will give you links to places that might be in your area for the secret shopping. I hope my answer helps! I work in a supermarket so I see some customers who have many varying moods. The only problem is, I can’t tell who the secret shopper is!
