How do I know if a clutch bag/ purse is vintage? What are the signs?

I got a Beautiful purse from the car boot, its rectangular with a gold clasp slightly faded in a lovely psychedelic and gold floral pattern. The inside is like a cream waterproof type fabric, any help on if this could be vintage and what are the signs of vintage purses?

There isn’t really a way to tell if an article of clothing or a bag or shoes are “vintage.” It depends on where you got it. If you bought it at a vintage boutique, it’s obviously gonna be vintage….there’s not really a sign that says “IM VINTAGE!”
